homg this is the longest I've ever spent on a piece of art for an academic class. For english we had to create an artistic interpretation for a scene or quote from Romeo and Juliet and I did "From forth the fatal loins of these two foes, A pair of star crossed lovers take their life;"
It's a crappy quote but it was so general that I could do whatever I wanted with it wahahaha.

Reading: My Sister's Keeper (LEGIT BOOK WOW)

The Borders in my area is closing so they're having a huuuge sale. I rarely buy books, but since everything was so cheap it was like sure why not. I ended up spending 50 bucks on these, yeah its mostly manga but they were all 50% off, which meant I bought it the same price you would probably get it in Japan. Good deal. I also have a pet peeve where if I'm collecting something, I have to have the WHOLE collection or not have it at all, like all or nothing. This is the reason why I don't buy manga...I wouldn't have enough to be satisfied lol. I'd also be really bothered if I had the first couple of books of a series but I didn't have the rest of it. ITS INCOMPLETE AAAH. Is this some type of OCD? derp. At borders I was like screw this I'm going to buy it allllll. I was looking for Solanin because it's just a one shot and it's good and its those thicker ones that are like 2 in 1 type of thing, but they didnt have it. The Eureka 7 is the second collection that has 3 volumes compiled in one big book BUT THEY DIDNT HAVE THE FIRST COLLECTION I looked for it for so long. It took a while for me to get over it and make up my mind. Same with Dogs, I only bought the 2nd and 3rd book. (but I read the first part on the interwebs) The other manga is After School Charisma...I only bought it because it looked kind of interesting? and I a picture of some people going crazy over it in Taiwan. (idk) and the collage book because I like collaging :D I was also going to buy Neon Genesis Evangelion (WASNT COMPLETE) and MAOH juvenile remix but I didn't have enough money. Now I want to buy manga...;__; not good

Since I have no art to post I shall share with you all my brownie making adventure.
I lurk on tumblr a lot sometimes...and I found this recipe there for 3 minute brownies in a mug, and I can't cook to save my life so this was sort of amazing to me. By the way, I'm going to start spamming jump breaks now BECAUSE I CAN and it takes up less space on the blog derp

Yes..check it out I've got the whole opacity thing worked out on my pictures now just hover over them for a bit and you'll see ;) Happy Chinese New Year even though that was like 4 days ago or something. This is sort of an update since I haven't been able to post about anything significant lately. I haven't much time to draw/CG at all lately and I don't think I will be able to for a while...maybe at least for 2 more weeks? I have so much work to do ;___; I am procrastinating just by writing this post. I'm not enjoying any of my new art classes at school (basic drawing and ceramics) The basic drawing teacher is just....>_> and I just never liked ceramics from the start. Throwing on the wheel (like making pots and bowls and stuff on the ceramics wheel) is SO HARD my back and hands hurt for a day after just trying to center the darn clay for 1 class. Doesnt feel very nice. This is the bunny bank my parents gave me that they got from the asian bank for CNY (year of the rabbit, yo) and you can see all those aph papercrafts in the back..eehehhhhhhhhh CNY dinner was really weird the chicken didnt look like chicken and the fish looked like a blob of goop. It tasted alright though.
I killed a big ass bug yesterday! I was playing with my DS and then I heard this flapping on the glass door and then... IT WAS A BIG ASS BUG! Daaaaaaang look at that thing So I got a big ass magazine to kill that big ass bug. I hit it like 5 times to make sure it was dead It was dead alright.
I started playing professor layton again and I'm trying to get through all the puzzles without using a guide unless I'm REALLY stuck. I've gotten to puzzle 71 so far ; w ;

FRUIT of the FIRST SEMESTER So during first semester I took Color Theory and Principles of Design which are required classes. (I have to take required classes all year actually) rawawahh my carpet is so ugly but it's soft This is all the stuff I could bring back from school. I'm not going to take a picture of each of them because that would just take too long to talk about so I'm just going to pick what I liked the most. (or spent the most time on) There's still the pieces that were put up at the gallery so when I get them back I might blog about them...I dunno. Color theory numero uno! The assignment was to create a painting using a pair of complementary colors. I decided to go all out and use all of them - 3 - Yes...I have blogged about this before (goooo look at it its better quality there lololol) but whatever. Monochrome painting, I chose to use a indigo/violet sort of color inspired by simetta. (who is one of my fav artists ; 3 ;) I printed out thumbnails of her art for reference haha WHY DOES IT LOOK SO SLANTED ITS BOTHERING ME NOW (it looks straight in rl) Warm analogous colors painting. Everyone had to set up their own still life/bring something in that they wanted to paint. There's actually a cool colored version of them but they took it to the gallery so I couldn't bring it home. The rest of these are from Principles of Design That is my finger right there that is holding down the paper. We were supposed to create a pattern and hide our name/some word inside Hmmm I kind of forgot what the assignment was for this. It was something like, draw your hand + some object (I got a clothes clip thing) detailed, outlined, contour, cross hatched,& negative space...? I got a 22/20 on this muahahaha This is one of my favorites! It couldn't go into the gallery because I finished it too late...(it was one of the later assignments) We had to draw a shoe with a certain type of texture and I did a spaghetti shoe. The fork and the knife's perspective and whatnot is all off but idc closeup. CLOSEUP.
Okay. This was a pain in the arse. I hate doing negative space ;__; If you can't tell what it's a drawing of (I couldn't even tell what it was when I was drawing orz) its supposed to be a wine holder (the swirly thing) a clothes basket (I think that's obvious) and something else. I still don't know what that is. SQUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARES That's it for the major stuff. These are some doodles on the portfolio folder thing bunny. DECO*27 gumi.

Mami from MS madoka puella magica or whatever you want to call it...you wouldn't get it unless youve watched it ._. ep. 3 D': My internet is having problems and it's extremely suckish. It works fine for about an hour after I open up the computer, and then it dies every 10 minutes, and then it starts dying every few minutes. And when it does work, it's extremely slow. It took me like 5 tries to upload this picture, so the picture post probably won't come until later.

uhehhhh this is a collab with zukasi (who is my sempai lololol) who did the sketch and I did the rest Yes I have drawn this miku before here buuut I just told zuka that I would color anything she drew so she just sent me that...There's so much stuff I have to do and so much stuff I want to drawwwwww aaaaaahh at least I'm done with this ;__; Also! I started basic drawing and ceramics for 2nd semester so I have a bunch of stuff from 1st semester to show so next time I might do a photo dump.

It's finals week! ;___; Tomorrow's off, Tuesday-Thursday end at 11:45, Friday's off, so it's a pretty easy week besides all the exams.
I'm still drawingg Here's a WIP...with a lot of shimejis * p * They're pretty pointless but its fun to watch them crawl around your screen. I couldn't get all of them in because the more there are the slower the computer is... The kaito with the icecream is a flele and those things play mp3s. Spiffy, eh? buyhoo they're all so cute If you leave the shimeji's alone for a while they multiply by themselves (you can get more on the screen by yourself too). When you leave your computer and it goes to sleep or whatever, and then you come back and them BAM, the screen is like framed with these little creepers. It's kind of scary. (shimeji is a type of mushroom)

I just came back from my school's high school art show and I took a ton of pictures. Graphic Design Stippling! takes a lot of patience. More stippling! This one is my favorite out of the entire show...except the lighting there wasn't very good so I couldn't take a good picture :( close up * 3 * (ceramics) This is one of my classes' part of the gallery This is also one of my favorites * o * Book art Afterwards we hung out at a cozy cafe - w - On the way we passed by other galleries... ...and saw a giant ear. This is the inside of the cafe. Shnazzy! That's it for today...time to do math homework.
